There are a surprisingly high number of foreclosed homes in major cities such as Austin and Dallas. The number is increasing throughout the country as well. An excellent source for finding these houses have lists GovernmentAuctions.org Foreclosed properties for sale throughout the country. I would not be surprised if the majority of houses are listed in your area. I have the page in the past, when I find a home in haste.
